INTERVALS AND VEHICLE CHANGES

When is calibration needed?

01

At least every 2 years

A tachograph requires a periodic inspection at least every two years. Check the last inspection date on the installation plaque and arrange a visit before the next inspection is due.

02

After changes to the vehicle

A change to the registration number, vehicle characteristic coefficient or effective tyre circumference requires another inspection and calibration. Tell us about these changes when arranging your visit.

03

After repairs or when faults occur

A tachograph needs another inspection after a repair. Incorrect readings, a damaged seal or recurring warnings require a workshop check; do not wait until the periodic inspection is due.
