We tailor the service to the tachograph model, its condition and the reported problem.
Periodic inspections
We inspect the tachograph installed in the vehicle, its operation and connection to the vehicle systems. We check recordings, markings and seals.
Tachograph chart sales
We help select charts for the tachograph model and its speed range. If you are unsure which to buy, show us the device marking or a chart you currently use.
Help with operation
We explain how to insert and replace charts, set the time and use the activity selector. We help identify operating errors that affect recordings.
PERIODIC INSPECTIONS
A working tachograph and clear recordings.
The inspection covers the device installed in the vehicle. We assess its operation and the accuracy of the recorded data.

When is a periodic inspection due?
A tachograph requires a periodic inspection at least every 2 years. After a repair or changes to the vehicle, we assess the need for another inspection individually.

Questions about analogue tachographs
Yes. We repair VDO/Kienzle analogue devices. We confirm whether a repair is possible and its scope after checking the model, condition and spare-part availability.
Yes. A periodic inspection concerns the tachograph installed in a specific vehicle. For a device repair alone, we will agree whether the vehicle is also needed.
No. The chart must be suitable for the tachograph, including its speed range and type approval. Show us the device model or the chart you have been using and we will help select the right one.
The cause may be an unsuitable chart, operating error, device fault or installation problem. We identify the cause and then agree the work required. If you have a chart showing the incorrect recording, bring it with you.
Send a photo of the front of the device and its marking, if available. Include the vehicle make, model and year, plus a brief description of the problem. We will help identify the model and plan your visit.
